I'm going to add this to my list of next years "maybe" matches. I am from Oregon and It would be a fun trip for me regardless of what sounds like an awesome match. I also want to go to regionals and nationals. Gotta figure out the schedule.

Trent,
The CBC beats any nationals I've ever been to.

Mary's right Trent. I went to the nationals in 08 and dont get me wrong, a wonderful place(Ridgeway) excellent run match and a good time spent with friends, but for some of us who shoot highpower as well it can get quite expensive and no cool prizes. I'm now into going to the CBC(cause its in my backyard) the Iron Man in Montana, personally i think its the funnest match of all and maybe the Canadian nationals up in Kamloops for a week. I hope to be able to get to go to the Southern Nationals someday if time and $$$$ permitt. If you live in Oregon the CBC should be a definate. If you have a trailer theres plenty of space in the cow pasture to park your trailer and if you have an adventureous side you could even camp. I might bring the hunting tent with the wood stove next year 8-} but that hotel room bed was mighty comfortable, not that I got any sleep :ymdevil:.

Shakes, I am from Oregon but I live in Colorado these days. I think I could make a family visit out of a trip up to CBC though. Spend a couple days with the family in Oregon then drive up to WA. for the match.

I'll definitely be going to Raton in 2011. Too close to Colorado for me to miss that!

It not me that likes tents....it is none other than Sandbaggin' Fenton Sandlin that likes tents. Or as some of us know him..great grandpa, with Cliff Landry being grandpa, club shooter Larry Engle being "Daddy"...had to be there to understand that whole mess but then what a plug for the Southern Nationals, never know who is going to get dubbed what name, eh Blue Balls?

Jason could add some interesting art work to the outrageous Southern Nats stories, I 'm sure. We could start a game of who did it on SC for those that will not make it.
