BH should be no less than AA leaving the nationals....he may even shoot his way into AAA.....I predict that he will find the key that unlocks his mind and the darkness will vanish and his spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure will improve and he will move up in class....maybe.

Only if I'm lucky, I only shot 5/10 or 6/10 on the pigs today. Disasterous!

BH,
Luck is where preparedness and opportunity meet. You are prepared...if your training is good, trust your training. If it is bad correct it. Opportunity awaits in Ridgeway Pa.

Now got my second 5 in a row pin and shot my highest last night - 20 I only did it cause of 9 chickens total. Another chicken pin. It is still those stupid Pigs with only 3 last night. It is me. I have to get over some mental brain deficiency. Tomorrow, I am going to haul out the Pigs instead of using the swinger and see if I can get in the proper mental state. I'm sure I can get 5 PIGS!!........next week. I ain't giving up the ship..................yet! I still love this sport...........

Pigs are big round blobs that are sometimes hard to pick a specific spot to focus on. Make sure you're shooting at a spot instead of the whole animal.

Okay, you are the 2nd person with same pointer. One of our AAA fellows last night gave me the same pointer and have to think doing that all the time with ALL of them. Said he goes dead center on the Pigs. It is so nice to get so many pointers and as he put it last night, pic and choose, which makes so much sense. I also follow the Dot onto the animal and gave me another pointer to stay focused on the animal and let the Dot come onto it and the spot. I now have some adjustments to try out! Thanks Jason. Here come the PIGGIES! And all the rest of them. :-bd

Sometimes it helps me to think "Watch the spot, not the dot!" before every shot. When I'm particularly unfocused, I've had to say it out loud on a couple occasions to help me concentrate. You should be concentrating on the spot you want to hit and subconsciously break the shot as the dot gets to it. Just like with driving, riding a motorcycle/bicycle, or most other things, you go where you look. If you are looking at a spot, your brain will naturally try to bring the dot to it. If you're watching your dot fly all over the place, it will keep flying all over the place.

Yippee! I got my 5 PIGS today at our once a month Sunday match. I thought I would get my second AA score, but was 2 and 3 short today. I have next Thursday eve b/4 season ends as a goal. I have not been following the dot scope anymore for the past 3 weeks and still working on it. I changed the right hand hold on my rifle too. which feels more comfortable. Lousy on the Turkeys today and did get 6 rams and 5 rams respectfully with a breeze. Then first in A class against 2 others today which was a first! I think RAMS will be next......this Thursday. I'm hanging in there, as they say.

Congrats teetertotter!

Once again I had high hopes of making it up there for the match but after another sleepless night last it just wasn't meant to be. Just like the Cubs...there's always next year I guess. LOL
