Daddio, sorry we missed you today and at state. Check our Silhouette Discipline page as will mention starting mid Jan with indoor paper. We open 5:30pm and can shoot until 7ish. Pistol too. Come and join us on your own time. No Charge!! I will have our calendar updated by January. We will be changing our once a month Sunday match to Saturday's next year. For your long drive, I might treat you to a sundae at Culvers! If you're lucky. :) Jon

I have next Thursday eve b/4 season ends as a goal. I have not been following the dot scope anymore for the past 3 weeks and still working on it. I changed the right hand hold on my rifle too. which feels more comfortable. Lousy on the Turkeys today and did get 6 rams and 5 rams respectfully with a breeze. Then first in A class against 2 others today which was a first! I think RAMS will be next......this Thursday. I'm hanging in there, as they say.
Congrats, Teetertotter! The next thing to concentrate on once you get "watch the spot, not the dot" is "one spot, one shot." With that, you are focused only on the shot you are currently taking. Don't think about scores, or 10-in-a-row, or your inevitable silhouette national championship. B-)

Thanks Jason and appreciate the pointers! I'll try not to think about scores and think as you stated. I must say my mental state not thinking so much this past Sunday's match made me more relaxed on all the animals except the turkeys. My heartbeat/breathing really picked up on the turkey's coupled with wobble. I know I was thinking too, that I have to get at least 4 both times and only got 2 each time. Bad thoughts in my mind!! That broke me for the day not reaching 20+ total both times. My mental state has to completely change and just shoot!
