Mary, what's he talking about?

No no - that stuff makes my hair stand out. Mix it with the dark chocolate and coffee and the effect is akin to meth with side effects.

BB..a little straight caffiene never hurts! Trust me on this one.

Ghostofwar...we are a strange lot but to really see us in action you need to come to Sunshine Classic (May 2nd or 3rd) Jacksonville, and Winnsboro (June). I may have to drive to Arab AL to get the taxes done this year and swing back through a Carolina state just to shoot a match...

I already looked into the Sunshine Classic and my work schedule won't allow it. Winnsboro might be a possibility. Just have to check.

Ghostofwar...the "w" is a four letter word, we don't use it in this side of the berm. LOL. While the pay is poor there are advantages to being a public servant, the leave is not an issue with me. Hope to see you in Winnsboro at least, if not before then, I may burn leave on the Arab tax trip and drive this year.

Mary, put on that elk sweatshirt and he's all yours.

Dave, you forgot I had him at Colorado last year and he left one of his shirts in my trailer. It is your turn but Mary said she wanted him. I guess my problem is solved.

Oh my, Mary, I'm almost crying with laughter. Two monopoles in the same room!! Gotta love 'em.

Can't find any really good food here in the Valley Of First Cousins, much less speciallty chocolate. What I wouldn't give for a Trader Joe's. I'll have to find a crack cacao dealer in Pe Ell.

Dave,
They will get along fine 'til the time comes for a drink...and the subject of organized religion comes up.
The chocolate here in Florida is only available in the winter, much too hot to try to have it delivered in the summer.

There is a lot going on at Whittington the week we will be there. Get rooms now cancel later if you don't want. Go to Whittingtons web site for more info. Besides competitor housing there are the regular cabins with 5 bunks 5 people work nicely one shower no kitchen. Also two cabins in the RV park beds only about 75 feet from the showers and restrooms. Also the big cabins but I would imagine these are gone. Primitave camping tents and pop ups, has water and plastic johns. If you do that keep NOTHING in the tent except bedding. Food, toothpaste and anything else keep in car. In the past the day before has always been a site in day and included in the package. Best check with silhouette dept. Mornings can be 50 degrees with afternoon highs near 90. 6500 feet altitude you will dry out quickly. Drink lots of water then drink some more. It can rain in july small afternoon showers just enough to get you wet. And the wind has been know to blow a bit.

Nuts. I can't go to Winnsboro this this year because of a teaching contract - good news bad news because it's nice to have the work. Does anyone want my reservations before I cancel them? It covers the air rifle match and the smallbore match.

Re: So... who is going to Nationals??

Reviving this thread, as it turns out that I won't get to go to Southern Nationals (again!) and am going to hit Raton instead. Where is everyone staying, especially the Washington contingent? I talked to Byron yesterday and he mentioned Microtel. Who all is going to stay there? Who wants to share a rental car, etc.? My wife's birthday is August 5th, so I'll need to fly back the night of the 4th or the morning of the 5th. :)
