this one has a load of aftermarket parts and everything that is factory has been modified in some way. The barrel is a 17" Green Mountain Heavy Taper, the sky is the limit with these things, but I like to keep mine within the Super Stock guidelines on RFC. Check out that forum on RFC, I think you will be impressed.

OK I have another question. I just received an email from Weaver. According to them, the V-24 has 6 inches of elevation, and the T-24 has 9 inches of elevation in one revolution of the turret. Is that enough to keep all 4 animals zero settings within on revolution?

Best answer is yes and no. The T24 with the 9 minutes per revolution will work with most ammo. But the V24 will not be able to adjust from chicken to ram without going more that one full turn. Most of my guns use pretty close to the following setting. If you go with a Leupold it has 15 min per rev and the older T24 with 1/4 min adjustments had 18 min per rev.

C-0, P-2-2/34, T-4-1/2-5, & R 8 to 8-3/4

Good luck, Paul

Like the guys said, the T-24 maybe. Depends a lot on your ammo choice and your elevation above sea level. The most I have needed so far is 9.5 minutes at rams when I shot in Washington state last month. Here in Denver Colorado at 5,000+ ft elevation my Ram setting is right about 7.5 minutes up from chickydoos.
