Website Upgrade - New Looks?

Did a software upgrade to try and keep up current and the "Style/Theme" we were using took a shot to the jewels...

I've moved us to a similar Style/Theme as a working solution until I have a little more time to fiddle with it...

Let me know if you have issues or find any problems, etc...

You can make suggestions as well, but tape $5 to each of those. ;)

Been several years since I contributed anything to keep the lights on. How about telling us where to send a little something to the Forums..... \m/

I would also make a donation for the cause as I have learned so much from this resource.

I prefer the previous look but would be ok with what we've got now.

On a more constructive note, this "skin" utilizes about half of the width of my laptop screen whereas the previous skin was full-width. Not sure if that helps but there ya' go.

TO adjust the window size on your box....

With a mouse hold the control key down and scroll to increase/decrease the size of the on screen window.

With a laptop with a touchpad hold the control key down and do a reverse pinch with two fingers. A pinch for smaller windows and the reverse pinch for larger windows.

Mouse pointer needs to be inside the window you are resizing.

It looks like every other phpBB forum, and that makes it easy to forget which one is on display at any given time. I don't see anything in the control panel on my end to customize it.

Is there a way for me to change the color scheme?

I was working on it last night and nearly killed it. I patched things up and will be searching for a replacement skin. My preferred skin is no longer compatible and I'm not sure how much time I'd have to sink into it to hack it into working.

Stay tuned. Working on it.

On the bright side, the forum response times are super quick today. :D

Mike,
Screen seems to have changed a little again today and it's harder to see where there are new posts, yesterday they showed red today an arrow, but almost the same blue as all the topics. Also the drop down box opens everytime you open a post.

I found a solution to the arrows that seems to be working.

As for the drop-downs being pre-expanded, the fix isn't working and actually causing more problems...

I'm going to have to try a fresh install and see if we get better results.

Hang in there.

Ok. Well, what was intended to be a security patch (cuz Russians and all....) turned into CPR on the operating table, followed by a complete brain transplant. But so far, the patient looks like it will pull through! :D

Also, the server is a little slow as it tries to digest all of these changes... so be patient while it tries rebuilding all of its thoughts... If it's still slow in a few days, yell at me.

So here's what I could use.

If you find any other glitches or oddities, post some info/screenshots/etc here in this thread.

Thanks!!! --Mgmt and Resident Surgeon

The pre-opened drop down menu issue seems to be fixed (at least on my iPhone).

Thanks for your work on this.
