What a great match. Some very good scores by the top dogs.Lots of young shooters attended.
Someone else will surely post scores and photos. **== **== Six 40 shot matches on Saturday and four 40 shot matches will test anyone’s skill and endurance. The Range was called by Ken Haupricht,Don Neilson,Tom Chiesa and ran smooth and efficiently.
The Ridgway club Smallbore Range was pristine with new concrete, belly rail, paint,RV dump station, electric hookups.
A couple nice touches were the National Anthem sang by Tom Fullem, very well done. All former and present day veterans were brought forward and spoke of their service, applause to honor them was lengthy.
Target setters were not to be outdone by anyone anywhere, all ran too and from targets,no slackers.Competitors showed appreciation in the tip jar.
If you did not get enough to eat you were to far back in line,or after R.Ent.
Awards were generous and presented by Mike Haynes and Ken Haupricht, with Kens added humor and jokes / stories.
Harold Frey And Izzey did a great job with computer skills and sign ups.Thank You to all responsible for this Super Shoot.
Attendance was up due to those who were testing the range prior to Nationals. The same will happen at the Sierra Classic.
