Works brilliantly from chickens to rams, and while I was at the whittington centre I hit the buffalo 3 out of 5 times.

I didn't originally catch that this thread was for cast loads.

My moa at 200m load is a 150gn Sierra over 17gn of Lil Gun.

200m target. Six shots from a cold bore with iron sights.

My 125gr Sierras over 31.1grain of W748 with COAL of 2.485 and jump at .085 grouped at 1.7" @ 100 yards. Could not find a lead load to get under 2.3".
I hit 9 of 10 rams at Raton Nationals last week with the 125s. 7 rams went down. Velocity ~2,205fps

Does your load always take down a ram when it hits?

I'm game. now if I can find some Sierra 150's..............where??

It took a lot of trial and error to get there. I found that Federal gold medal match primers worked best for me. Remington brass neck sized for .002" neck tension. No crimp. Bullets seated .010-015" off the lands. Winchester 94 Legacy with 24" round barrel.

I shoot swingers, so I'm not sure. They chronoed a little over 1900fps, if memory serves me. According to energy calculations, they should have no problem with rams.
