Marlin '94 CB rear sight

Post by PAndy »

Will a Williams fp tk sight go low enough to use the factory front sight on a Marlin 1894 cowboy 24" octagon?
Could use either the 336 top mount or the side mount version, if it matters.
Thanks

Correctly fitted there is no difference.
Side mount the Williams 94-36 FP/tk will not except an extended elevation screw. Leaves a lot of the sight's range untouched.

I moved a Williams from a 94 Winchester to the Marlin and it seems to work fine. I have about seven revolutions upward on the elevation knob, if needed.

On a 1895cb 24 inch barrel I needed 17 turns from chickens to the rams using a 350g berry's going 1140fps MV.

Its a Marbles 1/6" bead on a .560 tall sight.
