Harold Smith Has Left the Range
Harold Smith passed away Monday afternoon after a mercifully brief battle with cancer. He was a long-time member of the Benton Gun Club and was a regular at smallbore, air rifle and lever action silhouette matches. He traveled to matches in Winnsboro, Baton Rouge and Raton, NM as well. In addition to his love for silhouette, Harold was an avid shotgunner and spent many an afternoon at Blue Rock Sportsmans Club busting clay targets. Harold was a good friend, willing to help in any way he could, and will be missed by many. We are all diminished by his passing.

Sorry to hear that Greg. Harold would always show up early and let us in the gate. Our sport will truly miss him!
He is in our prayers.

I’m really going to miss Harold. He is one on the best guys I’ve met in the silhouette game. He always had a smile to share.
