7-08 Twist Rates ?

7-08 Twist Rates ?

If I want to shoot 140gr bullets in my 7-08, what twist do I need??

The Remington factory barrels have a 9.25 twist. Since the only load they offer for the 7-08 is a 140gr, so I'd expect that's the right twist.

Greenhill's formula is supposed to do a good job of estimating the required twist rate. Twist = 180 X D
