Cheap date
Let me tell you the T1X is a cheap date.
Factory trigger hit 2# for me and CRISP.
Shoots CCI SV and Eley Contact into 1.25moa consistently.
$100 on ebay gets a CTR stock that it drops right in with a fantastic grip, decent comb height and slightly hooked grippy butt pad. Loads of room to put ballast.
If you feel fancy then drop in match barrels and 2 stage triggers are available for a reasonable price.
I've owned an older Annie 64, a modern 1416hb and a CZ455. None of them shot as consistently and definitely none of them fit as well with factory components.
I don't have the equipment to measure it but I get the feeling that the lock time on these is every bit as fast as the legendary Finnfire.
You can definitely argue that the barrel is thin and a bit short, that the magazine couldn't be worse for silhouette. But I don't see those things holding me back.

Re: Cheap date
This is a great rifle for the money for silhouette.
It does everything for $1500 less than what I’m currently shooting and better. My scores remain the same.
The action is so smooth it’s effortless.
The trigger is adjustable to exactly what’s needed and is crisp and consistent.
The “ guppy belly”magazine is not a problem if held with thumb and forefinger fork hold behind the magazine with my smaller hands.
This magazine can be altered to 5 shot capability with flat bottom with accessory from DIY and it works very well and doesn’t protrude any more than any other rifle.
Additionally the magazine can almost be inserted and released with eyes closed,it functions flawlessly when chambering a round
and mag release is where it should be and works effortlessly.
There are so many options and accessories for this rifle to numerous to list.
I would recommend this rifle to anyone beginner or above for silhouette.
Last one I saw on the shelf was $530 out the door.I passed on it and now regret that.It won’t happen again.

Re: Cheap date
After switching to the Sightron the balance is about perfect with my front hand between the mag and trigger guard.
Going to finally weigh it then see about ballast.

Re: Cheap date
This cheap date just got even better...
saw this on rimfirecentral on a t1x stock..stock.
https://victorcompanyusa.com/titan-universal-cheekrest
Can someone confirm if this would be 100% legal? Asking because I don't fully understand rule 3.1d " Monte Carlo
roll may rise 1/2 inch on the off side." I notice the cheek rest does come out to the side a little but it's more at the top then the side if that makes sense.

If you're looking for something that is truly flush fit for the T1x, Tikka has released a 5 round magazine that sits flush like the old P94S finnfire and the Sako Quad P04R. I picked up a few of them for mine at Eurooptic.

Re: Cheap date
What a game changer that flat mag is. Mega kudos to Tikka on that move. I hope Bergara follows suit with the BMR and the trend continues!
