I’ve been helping a potential new member get set up for NRA smallbore silhouette shooting- equipment, technique, practice, etc. I referred him to join here as the knowledge base here is an ocean to my piddle puddle... he tried to join several days ago and
has not received any replies.

He chose the user name Sierra. I just looked at the user d-base & the last person to join with an “s” name was 2019...?

Is the forum closed to new members?

It's under constant, withering attack from all the black-hats on the planet.

Got your email, as you know. Sierra emailed me this AM that he joined successfully. Thanks for your help.

I hear you on the black hat forum ad spam attacks. We had a rash of them over the past couple years where I moderate at RFC.
I’m pretty sure they’re using vBulliten, and had to work on different pre-screen rules to join for the same reasons.

I appreciate your help, feel free to close/delete this thread if you want.
