Uberti 1866 24” 38 special
Yes, 38 special, not 357….
Rifle shoots well (see targets, same set up, 2 different powders, both sub-3” with iron sights at 100 yards 10 round groups)
nice 1.5# trigger, 17A front sight, new set of inserts, fiber optic insert, rear is a Lyman steel 66 machined to fit, (not including a Merit, you’ll need to source one of those, including a fixed apature), load data shown, 500+ once fired (by me in this rifle) nickle 38 special cases. $1000 ftf, $1050 shipped.
Trying to make safe space, don’t really need any trades but doesn’t hurt to ask. Certain 30-30’s are possible, can add cash if needed.
It has been shot (1000ish rounds) by me for the last 2+ years at club matches… I don’t abuse my rifles but it is a competition gun, it has bumps, scratches. Mechanically it’s 10/10, cosmetically compared to a “new” rifle, it’s a solid 8.
