I would like to buy a 30-30 Lever Action of some kind from one of you kind people.
I am looking for a 24 inch Marlin or a Winchester, that seems to be about the right weight for me.

I have held a heavier octagon barrel 24 inch in 22mag and it's pushing the limits of comfortable weight for me.
A rifle caliber lever action is the last gun I need to shoot for the full Grand Poobah of Texas. Not that I have any shot at the title with all the great shooters in this state but I've definitely developed a love for this sport and want to get in on all the fun to be had.
