NRA $15 fee

I was asked these questions quite often last weekend at a match so I decided I would check into it and make a post for all to see.

1. To be eligible for a NRA Grand Slam.
You must pay the $15 NRA fee and be a member of The NRA prior to the match.

2. To be eligible for a NRA National Record.
You must pay the $15 fee and be a member of The NRA prior to the match.

3. To set a National Team Record all 3 Team Members must have paid there $15 fee and be members of The NRA prior to the match.

Don’t beat me up to bad on this as I guess I am just the mouth piece for this topic.
Basically it is the same as when we had the books.

Mike:

Thank you for posting. I have no issues with paying the NRA $15 to establish eligibility.

I'm having some difficulty figuring out how/where to make the payment, however. I think I liked it better when we had to buy a book every year, and all the scores were kept in the book (more handy in my opinion).

Anyone have a link showing how to pay?

Steve.

https://competitor.nra.org/

First you have to register.

Under the 'menu' dropdown at the top left there is a line for classification fee. I can't do anything with it now since I am paid for the year already. This has been very simple like many other web based sites I buy items on or forums I frequent.

Got it - thanks. NRA now has my $15 fee.

I had done some previous searches, they just don't make it easy to find the portal.

Thanks - now that I know it's the NRA Competitor's Portal, I'll be able to find it.

The first several searches were "NRA Silhouette fees", "NRA $15 fee for Silhouette", etc.

I'm just getting back into Silo shooting after a break of several years, dating back to the "book" days.
