On 16 Feb 2023, Jerry died peacefully at his home in Casa Grande, AZ according to his obituary in the Idaho Falls Post Register:

Jerry was an avid silhouette rifle shooter along with other interests in the shooting sports, including the harassment of prairie dogs!
He generously donated his construction expertise and drafting skills for the design of the firing line cover, aka 'shooting ramada' (his words) at our local gun club. Jerry didn't hesitate to help with that project even though our gun range was so far from his summer place in Molt, MT that he never got to shoot under his ramada. Rest in peace my friend.
