2023 Western Smallbore Open Sight Rifle Match - Photos

Our first Western .22 Open Sights Rifle Silhouette match, held at Raton NM on July 3, 2023 was a total success!
We had 40 shooters from several different states that came to participate on the introductory discipline which is very popular in some of the northern Mexican states like Sonora, Baja California and Chihuahua.
This match was possible thanks to Jim Luke who took upon himself the responsibility and for getting insurance for the match.
My good friend Dennis had the trophies made and all the printed materials necessary for the success of the match!
Big thanks to Mary Leitner for helping me with the squadding, score keeping, etc. Her help was invaluable!
The Capstone group provided us with gift certificates for ammo and also for testing a rifle at their facility, plus hats, pens and stickers.
Congratulations to John Mullins for winning the match with an excellent score of 57x60
