Re: Peterson 708 brass.
I’m a bit late replying but wanted to share my Peterson brass experience that wasn’t very good.
I bought Peterson 6BR Norma brass earlier this year when I couldn’t find Lapua.
The necks have a 3/1000’s step inside that began at the middle of the neck to the shoulder. I had to neck turn every piece to provide neck clearance.

Re: Peterson 708 brass.
I have both 7-08 Peterson brass and 7BR Peterson. Both are annealed to below the shoulder. The 7BR brass is .012 thick in the neck to the shoulder. The 7-08 is .001-.002 thicker apparently by lot. the 7-08 weighs comparable to Lapua---not much variation on average. I haven't used either enough to say anything about its life span

Thank you Snake. I called Peterson. They measured their latest lot and provided me with a .311 loaded round dimension. So a .314 reamer neck should work perfect.
