Getting your crosshairs straight

on an highpower silhouette rifle I know its important to have your crosshairs lined up with the bore .HOW AND WHAT TOOL'S DO YOU USE TO LINE EVERY THING UP ?

not necessarily with the bore... but, when in position, parallel to the ground. we don't all hold our rifles the same and some of us, when in position, have some degree of cant. you want to compensate for the cant by rotating your scope. you can shoot with a cock-eyed scope but it gets tricky with windy conditions. i just loosen my rings and twist the scope until it is where i want it then tighten again. not really rocket science. there are inexpensive tools to assist with bore sighting that some folks use but it is relatively easy to do without.

I know each shooter is different. As a point of reference, how many degrees of cant are you holding the rifle at? Is your smallbore rifle different than your high power?
