Re-stocking a Rem 700 for hunter class, have a question
I'm putting a new stock on my 700 CDL LTD for Hunter class. Was looking at Richards Microfit "Tack driver" silhouette stock but the rules say "hunting style stock" Which one of their models would be appropriate. Weight is no problem, more in the forearm is better for me. Price and skill level necessary to finish are in my ball park. The rifle will also be used for NRA HP Sporter rifle competition.

from their website... the custom rollover style, monte carlo style, frontier sportster, old classic, or modern classic will all work.
this assumes they would fit "the jig." no more than 2.25" from centerline of the bore to the bottom of the forearm, forearm no more than 2.25" wide, comb no higher than .5" above center line of the comb on the off side, no more than 7" drop in the butt. basically has to look like a hunter. no thumbholes allowed in hunter class.
