Just finished the den last night (well still a little painting touch up and lighting to do) and hung up some dead stuff... Thought I would share..

Still have a few things to decide, but I now know 100% that I could NOT make my living as a milwork finisher! LOL Turned out good, but the amount of hours spent on the trim was a little long....

I have to agree with Dave, get rid of the "box" and add a loading bench or a few nice gun racks or some other kind of gun porn.
Marv, as for the decor being that of a 'single' guy....just have to have a good duster and do it as needed and the 'art' is fine. It's when they collect all the dust and expect others to clean it out.......

Marv, you are closer than you think... Before we moved, my wife had one FIRM requirment... that I have 'space' seprate from hers and the general living quarters of the residence.... we have a living rm, we have a game room, but this is 'my' den. I get to do what ever I want in there, but I have NO RIGHTS in any other area of the house! LOL

my version of 'gun porn' is a stack of torn down actions, scopes, mounts, half empty boxes with completly empty to augment the arrangement... A home decor expert I'm not, she is just limiting my 'touch' to the one space....LOL.. give me time, I will place my 'touch' on the den...LOL

But hopefully not single any time soon...... God bless her....LOL
