I'm getting my gear together for my trip down to Hollywood. I can't seem to find any info about the match. You put in your post that shooting starts @ 9:00. Will there be a practice period before match or on Saturday? You mentioned "good eats" does this mean you are providing lunch? I am coming down Saturday afternoon and staying at the Travelodge on Taft Street.

Hi Pat, the program is on the flasports site, but give me a call when you hit town 954 987 8361. We can meet at the club and shoot up Malinois paint job on the backstops. Of course lunch is on us, baconcheeseburgers on the grill, salad and chips. We also have a practice session before the match about 8:30. And best of all, Innocent will be there! Kevin

Too bad the weather is not on your side up there...our main problem down here is a geography one. no place suitable for bigbore so i have to travel for those. but at least i can shoot smallbore everyday in the mornings before i head to work.

Just got home from the match, and here's a couple more pix. We had a great turnout, (27 shooters) and almost ran out of burgers. First a group shot of most of us, and secondly one of Mary and Pat. Innocent won, followed closely by Hambone and Mallinois for 2nd and third.

259...yes I actually wore shoes, something about driving around in that other country to the south there, didn't want to have any issues with local LEO's if I got stopped, and they can be funny about barefoot driver's depending on the freshness of the last donuts they ate. I mean if I got caught driving barefoot, I might have to face malinios at work, and that could be interesting, as I suspect he has an entirely different personality there.

Great match I might add, despite not being able to shoot against Randy. My hats off to the chef (Hambone), and to the entire crew that help spiff up the range, cook, clean, and feed the competitors.
Bob you should come down, man, warm (hot weather), I shot Florida Sunshine Games for the International Lawn Steel Association yesterday, delivered shirts and medals to Trap, and smallbore prone, attended one gun show and shot smallbore silhouette today, 700+ miles, burned 40 rounds of 38special, 100+ of 22, picked up some new corny jokes, had a great time shooting with 'old buddies', solved the problems of the world, didn't even get in one potato juice though.

Thanks again, Hammy and to Chuck the president of Hollywood who went out of his way to be a great host as well.

Mary

Great job Innocent, and to all the other who shot against themselves and won! Will the scores be posted soon? I wish the names were with the pix so we could at least know who we have left to meet. Any chance? thanks.....

Hawk, the first posts are of me spotting for the infamous Malinios (Ahmed Miranda), and 'P14' Pat Brown shooting CZ next to me, and the last being Chef, or Hambone or Tbone and sometimes known as Kevin Hanson.
The group pic, I will let Malinios or Hammy take over on, scores 58/80, 54/80 for Hammy, 52 if Malinios (I think), and then they were divided by iron and scope rifles. We also had some IHMSA 22 shooters with us, so I'll let Hammy post the scores there.

Great weather, interesting breezes on that range due to the layout of the "bullet protection".
