Tall Ring set up

I need a tall ring set up for my Weatherby XXII. Would like to use dovetail.
Suggestions?

Chuck,

Fenton Sandlin ought to be able to make you a clamp-on base that will take Weaver rings and allow you just about any height that you want to use. With or without downslope.

if you can contact him....... eric brooks at cz452.com has dovetail to weaver adapters in various heights, i have talls and use burris zee rings. i have plenty of height. the adapters lock down to tha top of the dove tail with a set screw, mine has never shifted and i am somwhat hard on gear.

chuckd you are in vt or nh right?

FWIW, I use BKL 1/2 inch riser blocks under their standard ring on one rifle. This provides the tallest set up I have. I don't know how successful you'll be locating BKL products these days, but if you can find the the riser, it'll work with any tip-off style ring.

Coates does have some riser blocks.

chuck, how far are you from purgatory falls(mont Vernon) i have some 1/5th size swingers we can turn lead colored some weekend if you want some practice, always looking for some one to shoot with.
