I need taller scope rings for my Anschutz. Are the Leupold RM mounts solid? I am looking localy so I can get them faster and this is all I find. I do need 11mm correct.

I have an old 54 (well almost middle aged, I remember when my teammates mother bought it back from Germany with her), and it has less than 11mm on it. But usually they are 11mm. I do have a Luepy RM mount on one of my rifles, and I'm not extremly happy with it, but it will probably be ok once I finish tweaking it. It came with the mounts locktited on....and not on exactly square so there are some issues that I am working through.

Well I didnt find any this weekend. So what is a good brand? I guess I will end up ordering.

Did you check walmart for high leupold rifleman rings, they normally stock them. FYI, They usually have to be lapped. I have a set of weaver bases I'll send you if you need them.
