Sgt ODucky suggested we start a post for those looking for team members for the CoonAss shoot at the Southern Nationals.

Jason, you up first? I know you are a master, so it would be good for you team up with several AA or below shooters.

BTW for those with split classes, ie Master in hunter and AAA in standard, you compete in your highest class.

The Outcasts will be there minus one former member, sadly.

Yep, I'll be there and need team members. I was thinking that Jetmugg may want to be on my team and we can name the team "Floppy Stocks" in honor of the less-than-rigid CZ 452 silhouette stock that we each used on CZ 452 Varmints for a while. :)

George, we will miss the Outcast member...and I'll be there but I am a master ( in BS, anyway) also for those that want to pick up a master shooter.

Jason:
Sounds good to me. I'm glad to be rid of that floppy stock. When I bought a 1712 FWT, I found out what that CZ plastic thing was SUPPOSED to feel like. I put the CZ Varmint action back into its factory wooden stock. (no more flop).

There are 2 other guys from my neck of the woods (MO) who I have been emailing and who would also be willing to shoot on a Coon Ass team. I believe they are both AAA shooters. I'm AA in both classes.

Mordecai will be there, in search of a team, but with one advantage... I'll have been acclimated to the weather for a few months! :)

I am glad to see so many considering their names. We may just have to have an award for the best team name!

I think it's 10x worse when the weather is nice. I sit in the cafeteria at work and stare out the window thinking "That bird is about 40m, that one is about 60m, those ducks in the lake are about 100"

That does it! I'm going to sneak out to the range tomorrow morning and get some trigger time. :D
