Turn up the bling

The black bolt knob on the 54:18 was looking kind of bland after the red knob on the 1710. So in the interest of turning up the bling....TA DA new "bigger" red bolt knob.

I'm thinking powdercoat the scope end caps (screw in metal ones) sunshade and windage and elveation knobs. Only thing about the knobs is the numbers and marks will be a headache to keep the powder out of. Could just paint over the numbers after powdercoating, I guess. Not going to do the trigger guard, got other plans there.......Gotta keep planning to stay on top of the bling game.......

Don't worry John, I am thinking about what to do next myself. But I will have the ring and guard red soon. My need to add a Nitrous oxide bottle and some braided hoses. LOL
Give me some time I'll think of something!!!

How is the 504/Anchutz hybrid experiment coming? I sent a donor barrel to Evelio, but I may not have gotten it to him in time. Interested to see how it turns out.

John,
He put a 1710 barrel he had on a few days ago. He told me he shot it the with SK and did real well up to the turkey. It did not shoot very well at the ram line. He plans on trying some different ammo at the ram line and then maybe pillar bedding the stock. I will let everyone know how it goes. I know that Cullpepper has one with a Lilja barrel on it and said that it shot great. I am sure that with a good barrel and chamber that it should shoot with anything out there. Heard you were not feeling well, don't hang arround the doctor to much. You know how they are they will find something wrong. They can't make any money if your healthy.

It should shoot well with a good barrel. Only limiting factor would then be the short LOP (for me anyway) and trigger (maybe I'm too picky)......We keep adding the bling to our guns and we'll have to show up to matches with big fur coats, diamond rings on all fingers, cool shades, and a wide brimmed hat.....Wouldn't hurt to have one of our front teeth capped in gold........
Trying to stay away from the Docs, but they smell a good insurance card and they are like a buck in rut......snorting and pawing the ground....

Pual,
Mine will hold an moa at the rams with mismarked club that was Match eps, which for me was good enough.
John,
The lop was good enough for me and the trigger went to 2lbs crisp, no hair on that frog, it just ain't the black and blue machine.
