This last weekend was a blast, Great ran match, I thought I was gonna go bask in 100 degree Arizona sun but nope we got hail and wind, it's ok, my 6mm didn't mind, and mcalice ain't the paparazzie guru, he missed the most important shot of this silhouette season, Mary in her rain gear. She's setting a raingear fashion trend haha. Oh and speaking about 6.5 flinch my buddy from colorado has a mean flinch. He was shooting next to me and he made me almost drop my rifle. Trent good to finally meet you, I'm gonna get a couple of my stocks duplicated. And yeah, bob 168's will just not do, neither will a 30-06 because everything with a 6 in it is bad juju. But everyone take note, bob did lose a ram this weekend, my 7mm lost a ram also in practice, but my 6 didn't lose a single ram, I don't think I'm part of bobs shooting fanclub anymore;) Anyways it was great to see all my friends again this match and I'll see them again in Wyoming as well as CA smallbore, when's nationals coming back to raton?

deadeyeky...Raton in 2012. Great to see you and your father again and congrats on your fine shooting. As for the Blueberry...hey I stayed mostly dry and somewhat warmer and let me assure you finding rain gear in Phoenix is not easy.

We had the same experience Mary, I warned two of my friends that came from San Diego and Ensenada, Mexico to dress for the weather and one of them did not see my Email before leaving for Phoenix, so after the match on Saturday we went to a Wall-Mart and Big-5 stores looking for thermal underpants for him and we could not find any so he ended up buying a pair of sweat pants to keep warmer the next day.

It was good meeting you too!

The Blueberry did not escape the paparazzi guru though. He is all capturing.

I watched the weather constantly prior to leaving CO for AZ. I brought my man undies with me for sure. I still ended up putting my rain jacket on over my other coat just to block more of the wind and cold. It didn't take much of a breeze to get that cold air to chill your hands and arms to where it was tough to shoot.

Trent, the Papa Guru was certainly on hs toes, I felt a bit like Kate Middleton....everytime I looked he was there with his trusty 6.3 mm out and pointed at me!
McAlice, feel the love yet? Honestly trying to justify 168 gr bullets by adding the 1 and the 6 and saying that it equals a 7 therefore it will reliably take down rams in a 7-08 is just wrong! Bad juju as deadeyeky says.

Mary, is that a mexican poncho or a sears poncho? :D

I'm pretty sure it's a home depot bag she found in the trash bag isle, it's was some mighty thick tear resistant material, even if bob had a 7mm CANON, camera, I don't think he coulda got through that =)) , does anyone remember that thread about cameras and how canons were best for ballistic photography? I got some pics of the perpetraitor

I think we had some insurgents on the hill, either that or he was there to see if he could get some intel on other peoples loads and come up with ways to prove we are marginal,or maybe it was to catch a glimpse of coloradoshooters designers jeans or perfect form \:D/
But I digress, I think we need to make one day out of the year dedicated to Mr McAlice for all his hardwork, time, money and effort to show us what cartridge and loads we must use for high-power silhouette ^:)^

AD9, that is most certainly a Home Depot Phoenix poncho...were they had to get out a special table of rain gear, not normally stocked in the isles...and not much open at 07:30 in the am near the range either. Besides the Mexican color was green, and he managed to tear his.

Deadeye...glad to see you caught some pic's of the Papa-Guru in action, looks like he was busier than I thought.

McAlice, maybe you should give you 6.3 mm Sony to someone taller like JB, so you don't have to stand on the table to take pictures.

Give it to JB? Me and that little Sony are in separable. I don't mind going to great heights to provide the SC viewing audience the top quality photos they deserve. :D

I pulled a little paparazzi action myself this past Sunday. I caught the Guru in the act of using a cell phone. He is like a smoker that refuses to buy his own cigarettes and just bums them off his friends. =))

Look at his startled expression when I caught him in the act! There was a paparazzi struggle afterwards when he tried to grab my camera and prevent me from providing "the public" with this photo. I thought I'd be able to catch a "Britney moment" on film but Bob wasn't wearing his skirt that day.

Nice one Trent....even sneaking down the alley to try to hide the use of the cell. McAlice, it's ok, you can come out of the closet now and admit to carrying your wifes cell when on the road, she needs to know that you can get help if you need it, and BTW she has a GPS tracking system in her phone so she knows where you are at all times!!!lol

Remember it all started out with me ratting out McAlice for having a cell phone in Mo.!
