Leupold 24X scope- was told it is a BR 24, all it says on it is 24X. Fine cross hairs w/small target dot, target turrets and sun shade. Adj. obj. is marked 50-100-200-400. I used it for rimfire silhouette on the 54.18 when I first got it. Serial # U1617xx = 1987 manuf. date. Very good condition, no box or papers. $375 shipped/ insured to the lower 48.

You can tell a 24 BR from a 24X by the following.
24BR will focus down to 15 - 20 ft
24BR will have many turns from Inf to min focus. 24X, 1 and 1/2 turns some times just less than 2.
24 BR has a gold band, that on a lot moves, and in all the cases i have seen has BR printed on it. I have 7 of them.
24BR are worth about double a 24X. the 24x is still a good scope and you can get an adaptor to bring down min focus to 50ft.
