Not exactly silhouette related...
I am proud to announce to my friends that Grandchild #4, youngest daughter's 1st Kaylea Jean Jent made her entrance to this cruel world on January 26th at 12:31 pm at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith Arkansas.
She weighed at birth 6lbs 7oz and was 20 inches long. Plans are commencing now for her 1st silhouette rifle, most likely a Cheater rifle of some sorts.

Mom and daughter are both doing well. Sara said of the labor process "It wasn't as bad as she thought it would be" Hate to think what she thought it might be like. Told her I expected her back at work on Monday.....Not holding my breath though. Sure do miss her at the office...

Mallory (oldest grandaughter at 8 years of age) started with a chipmunk that I let her pick out for her sixth birthday. Little gun is already worn out, so wasn't a good value. Might as well start out with a 54 action Anschutz hunter class rifle as that's where we'll end up anyway. I can collect enough stocks to grow the rifle as the kid grows. Might as well bling it up to start. Life's too short to shoot an ugly gun.
When I get Mallory's 10-22 finished I'll post pics of it. I've restyled a Fajen thumbhole stock and am painting it pink, the receiver will be purple powdercoat as will the trigger group. She wants a stainless barrel "Like on your guns papa" so we'll go that route and probably clear powder coat it with a little sparkle......By the way, the color combo was her idea.
