Thinking of upgrading from the HW100 to either of the below rifles. I like the hunting 5 for the straight pull and the lovely timber, however I also love the alloy and wood in the hunting HP 110

Russ would be easier to add a knee rest or palm rest for FT with the 110, wood is nice but you can't beat the 110.

I know someone that sold his LG 110(.177) to buy a Hunting 5 and he is very happy with the Hunting 5.

Okay I voted!!! Of course you can't go wrong with Steyr quality. But based on the fact you have a HW100 right now I think I would have to go with the 110 for the different stock. The 5 looks very similar to the HW IMO. I also prefer a single shot myself but the nice biathlon style action has always enticed me as well. Maybe if that action was in the 110 stock

Don't overlook Walther LG300 Dominators. If you can get one they are very nice rifles and I would give them the edge over the Steyrs for all the things you mentioned. If you get the Steyr you will want a shroud or can for it as they bark pretty loud without one..

Really you can't go wrong with a Steyr it all boils down to whether or not it is your cup of tea or not in the end. As usually any of these will out shoot you so not like you are sacrificing anything no matter which one you get :D

To me the 110 just has the look I like more but if I could get the biathlon style action in it instead I probably would. Especially if i was getting it to hunt mainly.
