Final Reduced Price - Win 1892 (Japan) 24" in 44-40

Post by TheBugFather »

Need some help here, I need to sell my recently acquired 44-40 for $900 plus $60 insured shipping to your FFL.

In nice shape, see photos.

Rifle is in almost new shape as I received it.

Has rebounding hammer and stiff factory trigger.

Since we are silhouette shooters on this board, I can reconfigure the hammer and trigger to get rid of both to help with the deal.

I usually can get them to 2 lbs or less.

Thanks for looking,

Dennis Ostler

Do you know what the bore groove diameter is??

It uses the modern .429 44 mag/special bullets.

All of the modern manufacturers use the more common .429 instead of the traditional .426

Thanks for asking, I plan on taking it to a local gun auction house this Saturday.

That is why I have not altered the factory look for silhouette.

If someone here buy's it, I'll reduce the price to $900 + shipping.

Buyers FFL needs to be able to accept from a private party with copy of Drivers License.

Thanks, Dennis Ostler
