New Stock for Jim McMann

For those of us in the silhouette community we are aware of the Pharr stocks and the cost of them. Jim McMann, fondly known as McManatee, a dear friend and fellow competitor was injured in a serious auto accident last week. It is not bad enough that he and his wife will both be spending time in the hospital, but also his rifle stock was broken in the accident. The Steelchickens group has decided to start a fund to buy a replacement stock to help get Jim back out shooting with us.

John Neihouse (aka Commander Kitty) is tracking down the colors and total costs and I will handle taking donations to purchase the new stock.

I know the economy is tough, and we are all short, but we have an opportunity to give this man a goal to focus on for getting better and coming back to a match, as I am sure the medical bills for his and Virginia's recovery will be extensive. Any amount will be a help to a great shooter and fantastic person.

Jim is the perfect competitor because he is supportive, positive, and a great spotter. We have to get him back to the line so c'mon folks! Coming back after injury or illness can be hard without support, so let's make sure he knows he has friends!
