Remington 40x
Got my 40x rimfire Standard rifle back from Evelio last Thursday. Thought I would let everyone see what it looked like after Evelio had Hydrodip coat the stock. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Plan on bringing it to the match Saturday for standard rifle. Will have extra ammo if you want to try it out.

He does nice work. Looks great. How does it shoot? Which trigger did you put on it? I Guess that means Nicholas can buy your Frankenhunter now. He's been saving up.

Re: Remington 40x
Pat,
It is right at the weight limit for standard rifle, with the HS stock could not be a hunter gun if I wanted. Will have to keep my 54-18 for hunter, but may shoot a 40x for both matches Saturday.
Has a Jewell BR trigger set at 2oz. going to try it Saturday see how I like it. Can add some weight to the trigger if I need to. It shoots pretty good, but does not like the Eley target at the rams, will have to shoot my Eley Team in this one.
See you Saturday.

Re: Remington 40x
Chris,
It came out just under the 10lb2oz standard rifle weight limit. That was the plan to end up with a standard gun. I have six hunter rifles so I did not need to build another.
This week end will be PSC's club championship. We will have some goodies to give away and will be shooting two 60 round matches, bring the family with you.
Try and make next months we will have our Larry Engle Memorial semi auto match and chicken bowling. Will need to shoot your 10/22 because we reduce the time limit to 15 sec ready and 45 sec to shoot.

Paul,
Beautiful rifle. Knowing Evelio, it will shoot as well or better than it looks.
