Anschutz cil 180

Post by Shooter2012 »

Might have found a deal on one and would like to buy to use for silouette to replace my 10/22 target.

From what I know it is single shot on a 64 action. I would like to use it as a dedicated gun for silouette and think it would be more accurate then the 10/22.

Any help appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

I don't know what model that is, not matching up with my Anschutz experence.

Old 64 MS was a good silhouette rifle. lot more potential than a 10/22 in my opinion. Guy at our club shoots a New Anschutz 64. Barrel is longer than the 64MS flat bottom forearm. I think they are intended to be multi disipline including bench rest. I have not weighed his gun but suspect it may not make weight.

Hi. I do not know what the 180 looks like. I have a CIL 190 single shot and a 310 repeater. The 190 has a target stock. The gun was to be used as an entry level gun for 3P shooting. Mr. connors said the stock will not make hunter class. The stock looks a bit like the one used on the 54MS. Both of these guns shoot about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch groups at a 100 meters I hope this helps.

HI. I only live a 150 miles north of Buffalo NY. I have been to the arctic circle. It is colder where I live than there. The closest HP range is Ridgway PA. Back in the 1980's there were 10 to 12 clubs shooting SB but now we are down to 2. I shoot more matches at Ridgway than in Ontario.
