What soft case for your rifle with big scope

Hi,
I just purchased a couple of very nice Cabela's Heavy Canvas Scoped Rifle Case.

They are nice but they don't fit the big target knobs on my scopes. Shucks.

I was wondering what you folks are using?

Really like the Cabellas, Allen and Boyt flannel lined cases but most silo guns don't fit, as you found. I can squeeze my 1712 with Wooster stock and Leupold 6.5-20 EFR into the Allen, but use a cheap Bulldog foam case for my standard rifle with EFR scope

I purchased years ago cases from Boyd's with lots of padding. Unfortunately they are no longer made. Recently I came across a close copy from midway http://www.midwayusa.com/product/939127 ... rifle-case

According to their specs almost 4 inches of padding.

Woops, on back order till August. Doh.
