Great Weekend

Post by yankee »

Last weekend was great. I managed to put together a two days of shooting at two different places and had a wonderful time at both.
Saturday, Smallbore at Rutherfordton, Nc. A very nice range and match hosted by the Piedmont Rifle Club and a fine job of running the match by Benny Griggs.
Sunday, High Power at Dawsonville, Ga. This is some place. A new High Power silhouette range and the first approved match held there. Hosted by the River Bend Gun Club and run by Steve Culpepper.

Thanks to both for a wonderful time and just a warning I will return

So, a week ago you guys fire the first ever approved HP match in Georgia, nice. Still no info posted here about the match. It would be nice to know some details about it like who won, attendance, weather, scores and heaven forbid did anyone take any freakin pictures??? I bet my good buddy Trent kicked ass . 8) You can just forget about me showing up until I get what I want. :((

McAlice, you show up in JaJa....I would have to show up as well. Actually trying to get it in my schedule for either Oct or Nov....10 hour drive each way so I 'll have to do some planning.

Trent wouldn't kick ass, intentionally.

McAlice... I kicked no such ass. With the hold that I had going on I was lucky to hit the berms! Here are the scores.

We had 11 people attend the first match of the "season". The weather was pretty nice by Georgia summer standards. Hot, but hide in the shade and you'll survive.
