DOUBLE BAD NEWS- WEAVER T-36 SCOPES

I purchased a new Weaver T-36 scope 6 weeks ago, and send it to T.K.Lee to change the dot to a 3/8 min. instead of the normal 1/8 dot. Yesterday I got the scope back with a note attached Quote: "I was not able to install a larger dot on this scope as Weaver has apparently started to use an etched glass reticle. The change in design prevents me from rebuilding the reticle with a dot. "
Second bad news Quote: " my health has suffered, and I am in the process of closing the business "
I just send an E-mail to Weaver, asking them if they are going to offer different size of dots on the new T series scopes. Will keep you informed once I get a reply.

Well I got a response from Weaver. All T series scope were re-design in mid. 2012, they all have an etch reticle in the lens, they can not be change, they only offer a 1/8 min. dot, and the new 1/6 min. dot. No plans in the future to offer a bigger dot.
