I don't know the difference, but this is the first version I think.
I had 2 Pharr stocked Anschutz rifles, I personally could never get to like them. A standard Monte carlo 1712, or an original Anschutz thumbhole or standard MSR feels better to me. Just depends on a person's build and position.
