It is a beautiful, classic, rifle. Congratulations.Smed31 wrote:The Lucky owner of the Kimber 82 is very glad that he gave a beautiful but basically useless rifle to him (in it's original configuration) to Evelio who had the vision to see the rifle I needed it to be and the skill to bring it out. Well done indeed!

bolt
Thanks Bob, but the bolt is on the wrong side of the Kimber. I can't believe all the people who shoot those defective rifles. I don't know how they do it. Thankfully the Remington has the bolt handle on the correct side. Shoots good too! Unfortunately it is so pretty my wife noticed. She said it was the prettiest gun I have. If she can start telling them apart, I'm in real trouble.

My wife knows I love to tinker, so is never sure if it's new or just re-arranged.psteiger wrote:Unfortunately it is so pretty my wife noticed. She said it was the prettiest gun I have. If she can start telling them apart, I'm in real trouble.

Bob, you need to post those pictures you sent me today since they just may establish a new "Bling" benchmark! This is also official notice that Bob259 and jneihouse, aka "Kitty", are forbidden to reside within 500 miles of each other! Otherwise, inevitably their rifles would hit critical Bling and leave us all painted some shade of candy red, and possibly with a peculiar fade scheme. You guys are dangerous!
On a slightly less irrational note, Rainy Day Annie is in the gun locker wearing her Leupold and may debut at the OFGC River Range tomorrow if the temperature gets above 40 (go ahead and snicker guys, she's wearing the raindrop pattern so sweat shows less in August). Evelio did an amazing bedding job - a fingerprint was on the action and I'd swear it transferred to the epoxy! Great job, Evelio, thanks! It's on the light side for many of you, but it should shoot great.
