No offense intended Unkle Mike ...but a powder coated set of BKL rings... give me a break. You got your sights set just a wee bit low my freind... But the alternatives would most likely put you out more than $ 37.50...

Rainy Day Annie is wearing a set of Mr Marv rings still in the raw that look just fine with a Leupold BR 24x. That particular rifle is a favorite because each of the parts has a story, even without powder coating.

No offense taken. I was just kidding around... I have seen your rings and they are very, very nice. I like the way they are offset so you don't have to shim them like you do with others.....
P.S. I wonder how that pretty litte blue gun would look in a pair of those??......

Marvin,
My guess is this is the one your talking about, he post as nanaimoman. Everything is light blue annodized. Top of the line everything in that rifle looks good and sure it shoots even better.

Mr Marvin
The rifle and mounts you referred to belonged to Nanaimoman. That rig is in the hands of another local shooter. Nanaimoman passed away last fall
unfortunately. He was an asset to our club.
The rifle is in the '...bling rifle ' thread.

Thanks Paul
I didn't know how to post the link and jumped before I read your post.
It was Nanaimoman that started the ball rolling with 1712s in our area
and after he acquired his a half dozen or more of us jumped on board.
I can't think of a better memorial to a very avid silhouetter.
