We'll see how that works out, since Significant Other, AKA "Kim", thinks I need a job this summer, which would put a crimp in my travel plans. Something about "mortgage" and other such nonsense supposedly more important than getting my butt kicked out of town.dwl wrote:Brother Blau;
Now you'll have to put up or shut up. Bring that Bad Boy out here for a real Grand Slam: chicken, turkey, pig, ram and a real antelope.
Those are my doing, Marv. The exact quote from Stiller's website is "Standard front Remington bases fit both front and rear mounts". Using their bases simplified that much of the project and helped keep it quiet (yes, that was deliberate.) At least the back half of a drop compensated ring set would be a custom job (maybe just drilling the back one differently, but that's your specialty, not mine), and the toy budget needs a chance to recover first (see "mortgage", above.)metalhead wrote:I, for one, as a casual observer, just loved the custom scope bases with the 11 MOA built in.
