Unfortunately, No cheap solutions anymore. I have enough ammunition socked back for next season but after that the drought needs to lift.

And if primers and bullets don't free up soon we'll will have to limit HP to a few matches only next year...

They are already freeing up from what I've seen. I've even gotten my hands on plenty of the Federal Gold Medal primers for both small and large rifle.

I agree the Champions does have the best prices right now. I'm afraid that we'll have to 'Bite the Bullet' no pune intended and just accept the fact that good ammo will never go below $40 a brick with the better stuff is going for almost $80 and higher.

I've found the best prices for .22 ammo at Champion Shooters Supply in Ohio http://www.championshooters.com/store/home.php

There is brick and case pricing so if you don't see it just give them a call, as somtimes the online ordering system doesn't show the quantity discount prices.

There's always some confusion as to what Champion's is mentioned:

Champion Shooters Supply, New Albany, OH http://www.championshooters.com/index-ssl.html

Champion's Choice, LaVergne, TN http://www.champchoice.com/contact.aspx

It's best to check them both. Sometimes there are deals to be had at both stores.

Don't forget that Cathy and James have some good buys on Eley at times...and I always watch Midaway and Mid South also.
