To quote the late Bob Pease (one of the early bench shooters who pillar bedded wood stocks with steel/epoxy compounds), "there is nothing wrong with a wood stock, once you get arid of the wood" (in the bedding area).

Im pretty sure he lays the carbon out in two halves then bonds them together and then adds the foam. Im not sure how many he has that are "ready to go". You may want to email him and see if he has pics that he can show. Like Mark, Steve is in the process of either finding somebody else to produce his stocks or he is perfecting his process to where hes happy with them and can find time to produce them when hes not working at his real job. You guys gotta know that if you want one of Steves stocks that you MAY be looking at 2 to 3 months before you get it in your hands due to the fact that robertson is no longer. But then those of you who have had a custom rifle built for you know how long it takes

I just ordered a McMillan. I hope they STILL make a good one.
