Welcome to the sport and welcome to our little dysfunctional family here....This is a sport that does not favor the bigger stronger and faster athelete....The gun may seem heavy now, but it will better the more shoot it. Psteiger is correct, stance is a matter of bone on bone among other things....David Tubbs' book "Highpower" has an excellent chapter on offhand shooting and finding your natural oint of aim...It can all be overwhelming at first, especially if you don't have a competent "coach" to guide you through the process....Keep shooting and have fun, it will all come in time.

Thank you Kitty. I've been reading up on the little lady and the "Neihouse" family name keeps popping up with lots of credit given for Mallory's success. Great job! I'm honored to be a member of the Steelchicken family; and fit into the dysfunctional part just fine.

We lived in Hollywood, N. 3rd St., east of 1 near the Intercoastal. Would love to get back there to visit!

Ya there is actually a little gun range on Stirling street. Between North Park Road and 46th. Its on the right, just after the little Walgreen's plaza. We actually have 3 banks of 10 which isn't so bad, considering where were at! And Ham, I'm gonna drop the ammo of to you latter for Ridgeway!

Don't forget your weedeater, edger and blower and we'll call it even.

And dont forget your long walk on that short pier too!

Chere, Oysters are good!! Trent is referring to a little dive in South Bend Washington, about 25 miles from a little range called PeEll that we shoot at in April, and those that know me, know I go to the River View diner every day for the grilled oysters. The Mexican owner does a great job cooking them just right, and he has been known to do pizza, a small rack of ribs and a few other fine foods on his grill by the road.
Haven't been to Sanibel Island since 1964....probably changed a bit since then, used to scrape fossilized sharks teeth up by the bucket after a hurricane on those beaches.
Baby Huey, you are the 'big boy', why aren't you carrying your mentors ammo for him? Hammy, you need to take some more lessons for Mother Teresa and I about who is supposed to do what when you are coaching a student.
