Give me a day or so and I'll get more information up. Right now I'm still trying to recover! (Setting the range up on Friday -- with about 6 warm bodies -- was much harder than breaking it down after the match -- with 50+. Keeping everything organized and flowing, running tech, sorting small problems that popped up in the preparation on Friday [etc] made for almost 24 hours at the range for the 'staff' over 2 days. And now I have the paperwork for NRA, TSRA and HCRP to complete. Have I mentioned that these things require some effort?) LOL

Thank you Charlie, Ernie, et al for a great match. We had fun. The food was outstanding, which is all I come to the matches for now as my scores have found bottom. I hope the tooth gets better. I have no idea why that guy slugged you, but we're glad it didn't fall out. I hope the dentist can save it.

Many thanks to Ernie, Charlie, the ladies in the stat house, and everyone else involved for the great job they did running this match. This was my first match other than my local club, and I had a great time. My only regret is losing my first-ever shoot-off (for A class in hunter rifle). Especially since I'm still being teased by some people about "choking" on chickens.

I hope to see many of you again in the future at other matches in TX and beyond.

Heidi -

Don't fret over the shoot-offs. I've yet to win even half I've ever been in, but I still come away feeling like a winner for just having been in a shoot-off.
As far as the chickens are concerned... If it's who I THINK it is that's teasing you, tell him to SHOW you how it's done and I bet that'll quiet him down REAL quick, LOL!

If you're thinking of a certain short person I am with most of the time, you're right. And no way I would issue that challenge. I've seen him shoot. ;)

I definitely feel like a winner. Hard to complain about breaking out of B class with an AA score the third time I've competed with that rifle. Keeping my cool during shoot-offs will come with time and experience. At least, that's what they tell me.
