Yep, that's the short story. Lot's more details. I forgot why we didn't get gas in the first place. That gas station must have been giving away crack inside.

He keeps talking about this hot chick, if it was a chick. I never got a look at her closer than the gas tank of my truck to her and Dad parked behind the camper. Was it really a female? They took a forever. He must of not had his blue pills with him. =))

jjp, If I would have listened to bob259 we would ahve been in the same situation. "Come on Pete you can make it" was the last word he said about it when I pulled into the gas station with 2 gallons left and about 60 miles to go. Even with getting 30+ on this trip that would have been a stretch. I think bob259 just wanted a story to tell.
