Thanks, I am proud of the equipment I have and would put it up against anyone's. Just wish I could put them in the hands of a top quality shooter.

Made my hotel reservation for the LA state match today and filled out the entry form. I will send it in later today. Hope to have the stock back for the 10X III in time. I have done some cosmetic upgrade, just need to get it back together and sight it in.

FYI, I have been shooting silhouette since 1978 and have played around with rimfire and long range BR for the last few years. I may not be able to shoot top scores in silhouette any longer but I can guarantee it is not because of the equipment.

I gotta say, Paul has some of the best equipment around. Like you said Trent, consistently, doesn't mean once in a while. But I can tell you Paul is an exceptional shot. He can really shoot a gun off the bench and is a master at reading conditions, add to that real world ammo testing and you have a seriously good combination. Until his back went, He was as tough a silhouette shooter as there is. Also if you ever made it this way, he's the first person who'd loan you his equipment. When he sent me the group shot yesterday, I accused him of shooting at the 50 foot line. I should get the cast off in about 6 weeks.

Um, I dont know if I qualify as a top quality shooter... but I have hands! And you're welcome to place any of your rifles in my hands and never worry about it again!

That's great! Cant wait to see you. Looks like we're going to have a stacked field this year! You wont be disappointed in the range or the match.

There is not a finer collection of silhouette rifles in the world - and not a person with better knowledge of the game!

While on the subject of Paul and his rifles and related equipment, I would add a huge AMEN to all that been said before and add this...There is no one in the shooting sports that has more integrity and generosity than Paul...if he told me he could chunk pebbles and produce a group like that one I would sit up and take notice....been missing you buddy, haven't seen you in a while.

I still stand behind my statement that a true 3/4" gun at 100 meters is so rare that it is basically unheard of. Ruling out fully tuned BR guns and even then only the cream of the crop can pull that off. That's pushing near 5/8 MOA at 100m.

I am trying my best to get back to were I was a couple of years ago. Plan on making the LA state smallbore and maybe the High Power match in Zwolle. FYI, I am using SK Standard and Center X now. I will post some pictures of my 10X III standard rifle in a couple of weeks. Waiting on the stock to come back from being coated.

A few years ago I watched him shoot a 5 shot group at 100y that was probably 5/8"-3/4". Another time I saw him shoot a group at 44 yards that was easily sub 1/2". Very inspiring to see someone do that just warming up before a match.

Standing up and with a 60 power scope I believe.... Jerry told me you can't miss the chickens becacse they are so big to my response but they are running ;)
