I shot the state HP in Tucson in May '02 or '03. All those targets are close to the light colored desert ground. By noon or so both days the temp reached 105 with typical west winds. At times the black rams were just a five animal shimmering black blur, hard to shoot the right one. Never went back.

And then I couldn't start on the animal I wanted, and then someone left the toilet seat up!!

They have toilet seats now?!?!! Wow, really moving uptown. Used to just be plywood.

Well I guess that could have been interpreted as whining, JB. I was just explaining the worst mirage conditions I had ever experienced. Never went back because it was moved to Phoenix permanently.
