This is usually where I jump in with some smart ass comment but here's my take on marginal calibers for silhouette today.
Use anything your heart desires, just don't piss and moan if or when you go to a different range where for one reason or another your little rifle won't knock the targets down and want the rules changed to match it's shortcomings.

its the nature of the beast...this game....The gd targets dont go down sometimes......No matter what you shoot at em and anybody who has shot the game for any lenght of time knows it...who hasn't turned a target or not knocked one down...even with a 22...talk about over kill in proportion to the target size but it happens...just forget it and move on...if you think about it to much you will drop more points missing the next bunch cause you are so pissed about the one that got away....know what I mean. But it is prudent to bring enough gun to minimize the chances of not carring enough momentum to the target.

No real plans on pissing and moaning and wanting the world to adjust to my "little rifle". ;)
My previous post was just an attempt to deliver a tiny piece of objective information.
So no need for insults.

Thanks again gentlemen!
It's been a pleasure talking to you.

Didn't mean to offend or insult your equipment or you, I'm just calling it how I and many others see it. When you named this post "what is wrong with this plan" I thought you really wanted to know-silly me. Political correctness in any fashion is not one of my strong points!

I thought the KB's reply was very tactful....you title a post "What is wrong with this plan" and throw it out to this bunch of free thinkers and not get sliced and diced....it's been a pretty good day..
